御前崎プロ2日目｡本日のスケジュールは､昨夜､日本の南に発生した台風13号の影響を考慮し､プロジュニアをファイナルまでを行い､その後QS2000をメンズのラウンド64までが行われた｡1日を通し､風はほぼ無風から南東のゆるい風が吹いていたが､波には影響なく､昨日よりもサイズは上がり1.5m前後の波がブレイクしていた｡潮が満潮につれ昨日よりもポテンシャルある波もあり､全体的にコンディションが良くなった｡
本日は午前７時からプロジュニアウィメンズ､セミファイナルからスタート｡松岡アノンがヒート序盤に､3.67pt ・4.57pt とヒートをリードしたものの､やはり地元御前崎出身の佐藤季がローカルの強みを活かし3.23pt ・4.60pt と徐々に差を詰め､プレッシャーをかける｡そしてライト方向の切れた波を掴み5.10pt をメイクしトップに上がった｡そのまま佐藤が逃げ切りプロジュニアを制した｡
メンズはセミファイナルで8.00pt とエクセレントスコアをメイクした渡辺壱孔がファナルでもエクセレントをスコアするかと期待されたが､スタートから佐藤利希4.00pt､2本目には5.83pt をメイクしそのまま逃げ切り佐藤利希がプロジュニアを初優勝を飾った｡
試合進行と同時に本日は『Dr.LuLuLun』presentsビーチクリーンが行われ多くの選手とギャラリーが参加してくれた｡
プロジュニア終了後はQS2000､メンズ・ラウンド96からラウンド64ヒート6まで行われた｡15時過ぎた頃には台風からのウネリが届き2m近い波が入りはじめ､見応えあるライディングが繰り広げられた｡
9月5日(木) の大会は中止となります｡9月6日（土）のファーストコールは午前6時30分｡ヒートスタートは午前7時を予定しています｡
MIDAS CAPITAL OMAEZAKI Pro 2025 DAY 2 HIGHLIGHTS
Day 2 of the Omaezaki Pro. Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 13, which formed south of Japan last night, today's schedule consisted of the Pro Junior final, followed by the men's round of 64 in the QS2000. Winds ranged from mostly calm to a gentle southeasterly breeze throughout the day, but this had no effect on the waves. Waves were larger than yesterday, with around 1.5m breaking. As the tide rose, the waves offered more potential than yesterday, and overall conditions improved.
Today's event started at 7:00 AM with the Pro Junior Women's Semi-Final. Matsuoka Anon led the heat early on with scores of 3.67 and 4.57 points, but Sato Toki, also from Omaezaki, took advantage of her local strengths to gradually close the gap with scores of 3.23 and 4.60 points, putting pressure on the field. She then caught a sharp wave off to the right and made a score of 5.10 points to take the lead. Sato held on to win the Pro Junior.
In the men's competition, Watanabe Ichiko, who had earned himself an excellent score of 8.00 points in the semi-final, was expected to score an excellent score in the final as well, but Sato Riki earned himself 4.00 points from the start and 5.83 points in his second run, and held on to win his first Pro Junior title.
In conjunction with the competition, a beach cleanup presented by "Dr.LuLuLun" was held today, with many competitors and spectators participating.
After the Pro Junior competition, the QS2000 took place, with the Men's Round of 96 through to Round of 64 Heat 6. Around 3pm, swells from the typhoon arrived, bringing waves nearly 2m high, creating some spectacular riding.
The tournament on Thursday, September 5th has been canceled. First call on Saturday, September 6th is at 6:30 AM. Heat starts are scheduled for 7 AM.
