2025年9月7日（日）いよいよ最終日を迎えた御前崎プロ2025｡誰が制するのか？ギャラリーの歓声が飛び交い盛り上がる御前崎ロングビーチは｡最終日はメンズラウンド16ヒート1 から20分ヒートでスタートし､男女共にセミファイナルを25分ヒート｡ファイナルを30分ヒート行われた｡

朝のうちはほぼ無風で台風からの最後のウネリも残り､1.5m前後のクリーンであったが､時間が経つにつれ南西の風が吹き始め徐々にややサイズダウン｡そんな中でもポテンシャルある波を選び選手たちはポイントを重ねていた｡

QS2000､女子のファイナルはレッドに野中美波､ブルーには鈴木リタ｡波は南風の影響でチョッピーコンディションとロングビーチ全体で色々なバンクで波が割れている状況｡セミファイナルから目立った戦略で会場を大きく使い西と東のバンクに分かれて､個々にポイントを重ねる｡そこに西側で､ライディングしていた野中のところへポテンシャルある波が現れ､6.67pt｡立て続けに6.50pt と差を大きく広げ､そのまま逃げ切り優勝を手にした｡その後のインタビューで野中美波選手は『CSクオリファイしてないけど､来年のランキングから何戦か出れてて､次のポルトガル・ブラジルにもし出れたら出る予定でいますので､そこへ向けての自信につながったと思います｡今日の試合はあまりプレッシャーを感じずに全てヒートに挑むことができ､この優勝に繋がったのかなと思います｡御前崎はすごく好きなところで波もいいし､すごく楽しめたとおもいます｡
CSへ来年クオリファイする事と､CSでクウォーターファイナル以上行くことが､今年の目標です｡もしCSへ出れたらそこを目指し頑張ります！暑い中たくさんの方々に試合を観戦していただき､そして5日間暑い中運営してくださったスタッフの方々､ローカルの方々､ありがとうございました｡この後も試合が続きますので､応援お願いいたします！』と､喜びを語ってくれた｡

男子ファイナルはレッドに安土丈､ブルー小林桂｡男子のヒートも東西へと分かれ個々にポイントを重ねる戦略を取った両選手｡小林が1 本目から6.00pt をメイクしプレッシャーをかける｡その後6.17pt とポイントを上げていく｡終盤には6.83pt とさらに差を広げ､昨年に引き続き､御前崎プロを制し2連覇を成し遂げた｡大会後のインタビューでは『日本のサーファー上手くてやばいっすね｡
僕も120%集中して試合に挑みました！アジアリージョンは試合がたくさんあって､大会もいっぱい出れていいリズムを掴めると思って､アジアリージョンへ移行しました｡ニアスでは思うような結果が得られなかったけど､日本も含めたアジア選手のレベルが高く自分のレベルも上げれて､一試合一試合が大事で､これからCS・CTを目標にまだまだこれからも頑張っていきます｡御前崎はいつもサーフィンしに来ていて､どこのバンクでライディングしたらいいかを作戦組め､優勝できてよかったです｡

MIDAS CAPITAL OMAEZAKI Pro 2025 Final Day Highlights

Sunday, September 7, 2025, marked the final day of the Omaezaki Pro 2025.Who will win? Cheers from the gallery filled Omaezaki Long Beach with excitement. The final day began with 20-minute heats in the men's round of 16, followed by 25-minute semi-finals for both men and women. The final heats were 30-minute heats.

The morning was mostly windless, with the last remaining swells from the typhoon still lingering, resulting in clean waves of around 1.5 meters. However, as time passed, a southwesterly wind began to blow, gradually reducing the size of the waves. Even in these conditions, surfers continued to pick up waves with potential and rack up points.

The QS2000 women's final saw Nonaka Minami take the red and Suzuki Rita take the blue. The waves were choppy due to a southerly wind, with breaking waves on various banks throughout Long Beach. Starting in the semi-final,
Nonaka used a striking strategy, utilizing the entire venue, splitting into the east and west banks and racking up individual points. While riding on the west side, a promising wave appeared for Nonaka, earning 6.67 points. She continued to widen her lead to 6.50 points, and held on to win the race. In a post-event interview, Nonaka said, "I haven't qualified for the CS yet, but I've been able to compete in a few races based on next year's rankings, and I plan to compete in Portugal and Brazil if I'm available, so I think this has given me confidence for those races." I felt less pressure during today's competition and was able to tackle all the heats, which I think led to this win. Omaezaki is a place I really like, with great waves, and I had a lot of fun.
My goals this year are to qualify for the CS next year and reach the quarter finals or higher. "If we make it to the CS, we'll do our best to aim for it! Thank you to all the people who came to watch the game in the heat, and to the staff and local people who ran the event in the heat for five days. There are more games to come, so please support us!" he said with joy.

The men's final was won by Azuchi Takeru in red and Kobayashi Kei in blue. The men's heat was split into East and West, with both surfers adopting strategies to accumulate points individually. Kobayashi put pressure on the other surfers, scoring 6.00 points on his first run. He then increased his points to 6.17 points.
By the end of the tournament, he had further widened his lead to 6.83 points, winning the Omaezaki Pro for the second consecutive year, just like last year. In a post-tournament interview, he said, "Japanese surfers are so good, it's insane. I gave it my all and focused 120%! I moved to the Asia region because there were so many competitions and I thought I'd be able to get into a good rhythm by competing in so many tournaments. I didn't get the results I wanted in the Nias, but the level of the Asian surfers, including those from Japan, was so high, and I was able to improve my own level.Every competition is important, and I'll keep working hard, aiming for the CS and CT. I always come to Omaezaki to surf, and I was able to plan my strategy for which banks to ride, so I'm glad I won." I'd like to thank my sponsors, family, and friends for their support again this year. "I'll keep giving it my all so I can continue to win! Thank you very much!" he said with joy.
