『御前崎プロ2023』5日目、いよいよ本日ファイナルデーを迎え、ヒートのほうは男子セミファイナルからスタート。波は台風10号からのウネリにより、早朝から1.5mから2mとサイズアップしたが、やや強い西風により海面はヨレつき癖のある波となり、波数は多いもののトロ速い波に選手は苦戦していた。そんな中波にフィットしていたのが、レフトハンダーの伊東李安琉選手だ。ファイナルデーただ一人のレフトハンダーの彼はスピード感ある流れるようなライディングで癖ある波にエアーやマニューバーと縦横無尽にアクションしポイントを伸ばした。

セミファイナルでは8.00ptと7.30ptでトータル15.30ptを叩き出し、今大会のハイエストポイントでシチズンプロマスター賞を獲得した。
伊東選手は勝利者インタビューでは『久しぶりの優勝できたのがとても嬉しいですし、この御前崎のレフトのいい波でできたのが一番嬉しかったです。大原選手はチャレンジャーシリーズをまわっている日本のトップ選手なので、緊張したのですが、自分100%を出せたと思います。最初はマニューバーでしっかり決めて点を出したらエアーにチャレンジしていこうと思ってのですが、思ってたよりもマニューバーが決めきれなかったので、次戦ではマニューバーとエアーのコンビネーションをしっかり決めたいですね。御前崎について1日目にエボシクラゲに刺されたことと、友人たちの応援だったりローカルの方々が優しくサポートしてくれたので、それが力になったと思います。今回優勝できてとても嬉しいです。次はニアスのQS5000に出場するので、そこでも勝てるよう頑張りますので、応援よろしくお願いします！』と語り友人たちからのシャンパンファイトを浴びていた。

女子はこの御前崎プロ女子スケジュールで終始好調であった、地元御前崎の池田未来選手と佐藤季選手の戦いとなった。終始リードしていたのは佐藤季選手。トロい波をうまく繋ぎ、掘れてくるセクションでは、上手く波にタイミング合わせクリティカルなところへアクションし、5.75ptと6.00ptとポイントを重ねトータル11.75ptとし、地元御前崎プロを制した。
ヒーローインタビューでは『地元だったので、絶対に優勝したいと思っていて、今回優勝できて本当に嬉しいです。セミファイナルが終わった時点では息があがってしまっていたのですが、ファイナルに挑むまで深呼吸して身体を休めていました。今回はセミファイナルから地元の先輩の三輪紘也選手にコーチをお願いしていたのですが、一緒にサーフィンしてくれたり地元ならではのアドバイスしてくれていたので、凄く力になりました。この後、来月からインドネシアに渡りニアスでQS5000に出て、その後いくつか大会を回り11月にはワールドジュニアがありますし、そこでも優勝できるよう頑張りたいと思います。みんなが観てくれている前で優勝できて本当に嬉しいです。またこれからも頑張っていきますので、応援よろしくお願いします。』と会場に訪れた地元応援団を沸かせた。

At first, I thought I'd try the air after making a solid maneuver and scoring points, but I couldn't finish the maneuver than I thought, so in the next race I want to do a solid combination of maneuver and air. In the women's event, it was a battle between Mirai Ikeda and Toki Sato from the local Omaezaki, who had been performing well throughout the Omaezaki Pro women's schedule. It was Toki Sato who was leading from beginning to end. He managed to connect the torrential waves well, and in the section where he was digging in, he acted in a critical position by matching the timing with the waves.

By the time the semi-finals were over, I was out of breath, but I took a deep breath and rested my body until I challenged the finals. This time, I asked Hiroya Miwa, a local senior, to be my coach from the semi-finals, and he surfed with me and gave me advice unique to my hometown, so it was a great help.After this, I will travel to Indonesia next month to compete in the QS5000 in Nias, and after that I will go on to several other tournaments, including the World Junior Championships in November.
